Richard Hosek

January 24, 1963 – October 12, 2011

Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic

Richard Hosek died at the age of 48; he was a successful entrepreneur in gastronomy, honorary consul of the Slovak Republic, guru of the project – the menus for homeless people and, good person. Honor his memory!

Richard Hosek also supported projects of the Brno Soccer Association. Under his auspices even the soccer tournament of ethnic minorities was to be held on October 29, 2011 organized by the Brno Soccer Association.

He was an initiator of an idea for a soccer team called Mensík's eleven which he founded afterward.

This team led by Petr, Vladimír Mensik's son, has played plenty of charitable matches whose yields were dedicated to children with respiratory problems for Children's Hospital Brno.

We lost a person who used to fill us with joy of his life. His words and ability to entertain people had us daily problems forgotten.  Richard never showed his own difficulties. On the contrary, he always listened to others and helped them to forget all troubles with his spiritual support.
